Waiting for the Band
BROWN WINDSON
Brown Windsor set up

On Saturday 3rd June 2006 I went to a party to celebrate 100 Years of Gotherington Railway Station which is owned by some good friends of mine, Bryan & Savita. I went mainly to see (yes you guessed it) more live music, although it was good to catch up with other people as well.

Unfortunately by the time the band started playing it was nearly dark as it was 10.15 in the evening. The band had been put together in the afternoon by BERNIE HOLLAND who used to play with VAN MORRISON.

The band played two numbers before I left the party, the first of which was NIGHT TRAIN which I thought was quite appropriate. The second track was an Indian sounding JAM which featured Savita's Nephew on Tabla Drums.
